Appreciate for your request. Yeah, yous tin can delete you file at the Teams at the File tag:
Just in terms of the chat file upload history, it will remain in the teams chat, when y'all click that file, it then will display the file has been deleted or moved page.

No, in that location is no delete option when nosotros (this is mutual to all my colleagues in the chat group) select the file/southward we desire to delete.
The only options nosotros see (from the 3 dots … next to the Close push are: Download, Open in Desktop App, Open in Browser.
When we right click on the file we get: Open online, Download, Get link.

Thanks for the quick response. Y'all tin't delete the file at the chat history, it will notwithstanding remain the same as nosotros mentioned before at the first post. So you lot can't delte it from that chat history.
If you are refer to this:
You need to nevigate to the Files tag at the meridian and delte from there, once it is deleted, when you click that file at the conversation history, you will run across:

We even so cannot see any delete icon on our Files folio. It would also be useful to delete chat strings but that is not our primary issue at the moment.

You demand editing the permissions in SharePoint. , navigate to the "Documents" library and modify the permissions on the whole document library for the site members to Edit. All Channel files for your Team are stored in this document library in a binder that equals the name of the channel.

Hello George
It is the case that none of our team members can delete - even the one/south who uploaded files. The problem, we have ascertained, is that we don't accept the necessary permission levels and can only use the Chat group rather than form a proper "team".
Our Head Teacher has now made us a Team and we have set upward our shared files in there.
Nevertheless, we would still similar to be able to delete the Files records from our Conversation group.
